Change of Blog Name Explanation

Yes, the name of the blog changed again, and it’s to cater a new ‘discovery’ that has nothing to do with animation.

I knew of the existence of this educational film thanks to Tom posting images from the title to a film forum, but I never saw it until Jerry Beck sent me a DVD transfer of it. As Jerry wrote on the envelope, “This film explains EVERYTHING!” With the exception of getting shallow comfort from a dog (replace it with a cat), this happened to me about once a week during grade school. The twerp even looks something like me at age seven. Enjoy.

The Rifftrax guys really need to get a hold of this short.

You just gotta love the upbeat ending…

“And he ran away and cried like a little bitch, The End”. :O)

Seriously though, this represents every nerd’s childhood to some capacity. As a matter of fact looking back at my old grade school pictures, I would have kicked my own ass.

  3. Well, that was a downer. I feel sorry for the kid. I think he should have thrown the baseball at that asshole’s head. probably would have made him feel better.

I thought that’s what he was going to do. I don’t know how throwing a ball at a window resolved anything.

Anyways, that was… depressing. Sorry about the childhood, Thad.

So, Thad… That was YOU in my grade school class back in the sixties?

Ya know, you would have been much better off if you just followed me to the candy store to get some Gold Key Comics by Paul Murry – and went home to watch The Flintstones in prime time!

‘Course, that might have left you sobbing too…

“and so I became a serial killer.” The End.
